A police station in Rivers State was reported to Governor Sim Fubara for repeatedly harassing well-dressed young men, despite clear warnings from the Inspector General of Police.

In a recent incident, officers allegedly slapped a woman for holding a young man’s phone while in a tricycle (Keke Napep). When the report reached the governor, he ordered the immediate withdrawal of all officers in the division and their transfer to Zamfara State.
