The newly elected President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has filed a lawsuit against the Nigerian government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Department of State Services (DSS) at the International Criminal Court (ICC). The lawsuit challenges the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, despite a court order mandating his release.

In his statement, the President-General declared, “It is time to shake Nigeria and make the country understand that without the Igbos, Nigeria would be a living hell.”
