The killing of any Igbo individual in any northern part of Nigeria will be regarded as an open invitation for the Igbo people to expel the Fulani from our land. Should such an atrocity occur, the response will be as resolute and uncompromising as Israel’s actions against Hamas.
For the record, those who were killed in Edo State were not mere animal hunters but human predators. While we, the Igbo, unequivocally condemn such acts of violence, it is imperative to acknowledge a fundamental truth: when individuals from a group that has long terrorized and massacred innocent farmersโmothers and fathersโbrazenly tread upon their victims’ land, they inevitably become subjects of suspicion, and the consequences may be beyond their control.
Let it be known that the murder of even a single Igbo person will signify the irreversible disintegration of Nigeria. The Igbo are preparedโat any time, on any dayโto respond accordingly.”
