Suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Has Challenged Senate President Godswill Akpabio To Take Legal Action Against Her Over Claims That He Orchestrated Efforts To Recall And Assassinate Her.
Speaking On Politics Today, She Alleged That Akpabio Enlisted Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo For The Plot, But Ododo Hesitated, Citing Her Strong Public Support. She Further Claimed That Akpabio Brought Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello And Promised To Fund The Operation.
Natasha Insisted That Money Had Changed Hands At The Meeting And Accused Akpabio Of Instructing Bello To Eliminate Her.
Responding To Reports That The Senate President Is Considering Legal Action Over Her Statements, Natasha Said, “I Am Hearing That The Senate President Wants To Sue Me For That. I Will Tell Him To Go Ahead. We Will Meet And Cross That Bridge.”
