Breaking News: The International Criminal Court (ICC) sent a letter to the Nigerian government on Wednesday, demanding the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu or face a total shutdown of Nigeria’s economy.

Upon receiving the letter, the Nigerian government reportedly transferred Nnamdi Kanu from the DSS detention center to an Abuja prison—something he had been requesting since his arrest.

The ICC’s directive came after the Igbo World Congress petitioned the court over judicial abuse in Nigeria. Additionally, the ICC has demanded that Nnamdi Kanu be compensated for his illegal arrest.
