Emerging report reaching on Sunday, indicates that not less than 7 people have been killed in an early morning attack on Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, under Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s watch.
Gunmen stormed Ungwan Bido village, today, killing residents; 2 children are still yet to be found after the attack.
Samuel Aruwa, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, confirmed the news, stating that, the attackers burnt down 4 houses.
The attack reportedly followed the alleged killing of a Fulani herdsman, Isiyaka Saidu, of Ungwan Pah village, on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Governor El-Rufai stated that he has directed the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, to as a matter of urgency, provide relief materials to the residents whose houses were burnt down, as well as those injured in the attack.
