A former Senate President and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s, PDP, National Reconciliation and Strategy Committee, Bukola Saraki, has on Wednesday, called for dialogue, as a panacea to foster unity among the PDP family,
Saraki stated this while commending the meeting between the rival PDP Factions in Ekiti State.
Page 36 recalls, that the meeting led to the reconciliation between former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, and Senator Biodun Olujimi, ahead of the forthcoming Ekiti State Governorship election.
In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, @bukolasaraki, Saraki said: “It is a great delight to see our PDP Leaders in Ekiti State, meeting to have the necessary conversations on the way forward.
“Just three months ago, many would not have thought that this was possible. However, with this meeting, it is clear that dialogue is the right step to achieving unity, as we all work to build a much stronger PDP for all Nigerians.”
