Some concerned Nigerians have taken to the streets of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, to call for the removal of President Muhammadu Buhari from Office, .
The protest which was tagged: #BuhariMustGo, started in the early hours of Monday, with the protesters chanting ‘Buhari Must Go’ and other anti-government slogans, streamed live on the Facebook page of of Sahara Reporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore.
Some of the protesters in the video, noted that they could not burn a tyre to show their anger, because there is no fuel to do so.
They made reference to how petrol increased from N87 to about N162 under President Buhari’s administration.
The protesters could be heard chanting: “Se democracy be this, se democracy be this, people dey die like flies, se democracy be this (Is this a democracy? People are dying like flies, is this a democracy)?”
