Emerging report reaching Friday, indicates that the All Progressives Congress Screening Committee has disqualified 10 Presidential Aspirants of the party, from contesting in the June 6, Presidential primary election of the ruling party, after they failed to pass the requirements.
Recall, that 23 APC 2023 Presidential Aspirants were screened in 2 days by the Committee.
The Chairman of the Screening Committee, John Odigie-Oyegun, made this known.
Odigie-Oyegun spoke while submitting his Committee’s report to the APC National Chairman, Abduallahi Adamu, in Abuja, at an ongoing meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC.
He also announced that the Committee cleared 13 of the Presidential Aspirants for the primary election.
The approved and disqualified Aspirants’ names were not however, made public at the time of filing in this report.
