Tinubu to speak on the Edo State Governorship election soon.
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has said that he will speak on the party’s loss at the just concluded September 19, Edo State Governorship election, at the right time, Page 36 learnt on Wednesday.
Recall, that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Candidate, Governor Godwin Obaseki, as the winner of the election, after polling 307,955 votes, to defeat the APC Candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who polled 223,619 votes, to come in second place.
INEC also on Tuesday, presented Certificates of Return to the re-elected Governor and his Deputy, Philip Shaibu, at its Aduwawa, Benin City, office.
Speaking to Reporters, Tinubu’s Spokesperson, Tunde Rahman, said that his principal would speak “at the appropriate time”.
His words: “Asiwaju has not spoken. At the appropriate time, he will speak on that election.”
