The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has made some very shocking revelations about some big wigs in his political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, learnt on Sunday.
He stated specifically that he has received a lot of threats concerning his second term in Office as Governor of the State, due to his refusal to share the State’s resources with Politicians.
Governor Eno reportedly disclosed this while addressing Journalists in Uyo, the State capital, on Saturday.
He therefore, urged the selfish and greedy Politicians to stop distracting his administration.
His exact words: “I have received a lot of threats from the political class, that I will not do a second term.
“I am putting money in rural development, because a good first term is better than a useless second term.
“I do not want to put more money in one person’s hands to the detriment of the 7.9 million population.”
Speaking further, he called on the Politicians to give him time till December, to put the structure of governance on the right track in the State.
