The Leader Of The Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Has made a proclaim that the Biafra people are ready for Her Referendum.
But Can This Referendum happen without War taken place, or without blood shed?
Should what happened in the last war happen again?
The last war which started Shortly after extending its blockade to include oil, the Nigerian government launched a “police action” to retake the secessionist territory.
The war began on the early hours of 6 July 1967 when Nigerian Federal troops advanced in two columns into Biafra.
And so many igbos were killed, Between 8,000 and 30,000 Igbos and easterners have been estimated to have been killed.
A further 1 million Igbos fled the Northern Region into the East.
in response to the killings some northerners were massacred in Port Harcourt and other eastern cities.
Which the war ended After two-and-a-half years of war, during which almost two million Biafran civilians (3⁄4 of them small children) died from starvation caused by the total blockade of the region by the Nigerian government, Biafran forces under Nigeria’s motto of “No-victor, No-vanquished” surrendered to the Nigerian Federal Military.
Should the war which took place on 6 July 1967 till 15 January 1970 repeat it self again?
The Biafrans should be more Prepared this time around?.
