Bode George, has exposed a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, for securing the economy of Lagos State, to himself and members of his immediate family, allegedly,
He revealed that Tinubu has three world class private jets, questioning what a private citizen with no known source of that kind of income, would be doing with 3 of the most expensive jets in the world.
In an interview with Arise TV, on Friday, he stressed that greed on the side of the Politicians, is a major problem in Nigeria.
Chief Bode George warned that if Leaders and Officials fail to act right, the youths may descend on their graves after their death.
His words: “Look at the former Governor of Lagos State, he has three executive jets, private jets. The other one, 900X, can fly from Lagos to New York. Where is his business?
“Look at the Falomo Shopping Mall that was built by Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson; you know what they have there now? The horse cable for Bola Tinubu’s son. What kind of madness is that? These are our heritage.
“Look at the end of Awolowo road there, the nursing home. We cannot even train nurses anymore in Lagos State. These are issues, I am talking as an Elder Statesman.
“I am in my mid-seventies, what am I afraid of, if I cannot say it? If things go well, fine; if things do not go well, our children – these same youths – will come and exhume our bodies and be mad with us.
“Today, everyday, we keep talking about Papa Awolowo, Herbert MacCaulay, talking about our heroes’ past, because of their contributions. The greed is too much”, Bode George declared.
He further described as sacrilegious, the collection of Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, in Lagos State, by a private firm, AlphaBeta, which is connected to Bola Tinubu, and earns around N7.5 billion ($19 million) monthly, calling on the State Government to block all forms of revenue leakages.
He accused Tinubu of also securing for his son, all advert placements in the whole of Lagos, alleging that all advert payments in Lagos State are made to the former Governor’s son.
Elsewhere, he accused the Jagaban of lobbying for his daughter, the Head of all Markets in Lagos, arguing that, she did not even own a single shop in any Market in the State to qualify for such position. He stated that the position puts her in charge of all Market levies in the State, which he stressed as greed.
He called on Tinubu to challenge him on any of his assertions, if they are lies.
