The Nigerian Army, has stated that it is in no way looking for DJ Switch, who recently fled the country for her safety, after her role at the ordered shooting of peaceful EndSARS protesters at Lekki toll gate, on Tuesday night, October 20, in Lagos,
The Army Representative, Brigadier-General Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo, said this in his testimony at the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters.
Recall, that DJ Switch raised an alarm of the Military operation at the toll gate, after her Instagram live video went viral and global, for the world to witness the alleged shooting at peaceful protesters by suspected men of the Nigerian Army.
The Army Representative, however, debunked the allegation, stating that, they have bigger fish to fry, and better things to do, than to declare her wanted.
He also added that he has met with other top promoters of the protests, including Doctors.
He noted that the Nigerian Military can never harm the citizens, calling them their brothers and sisters.
