The judgement was initially fixed for today, November 30, by Justice Taiwo Oladipupo Taiwo, of the Federal High Court, in Abuja, but it was learnt that the Judge will not sit today.
No reason was giving for the adjournment, but the notice apologised to the Lawyers, and urged them to bear with the court.
Recall, that the Plaintiffs in the suit, Adindu Valentine and Egwudike Chukwuebuk, are claiming that Prof. Soludo provided false information in the affidavit (Form EC9) he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and thus, should be deemed unqualified to stand for the already concluded election.
In the suit, the Applicants contended that Prof. Soludo indicated in the affidavit that he was contesting for the Aguata 2 Constituency seat, when in fact, he was contesting for the Anambra Governorship seat.
The Defendants in the suit are the Independent National Electoral Commission, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prof. Soludo, and Dr. Ibezim.
