Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has on Sunday, been sworn-in as the Executive Governor of Osun State, officially bringing an end to the first tenure of outgoing Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC,
While Governor Adeleke’s first tenure begins officially today, the people of the State will have to watch to see how long he stays in Office, as the outing Governor Oyetola in his farewell message to the people of the State, on Saturday, vowed to return for his second term, trusting that the Judiciary will do justice in his petition against Governor Adeleke before the Election Petition Tribunal.
Meanwhile, the new Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, and his Deputy, Kola Adewusi, took their Oath of Office and Allegiance, some minutes ago.
The Oaths were administered on both men by the Osun State Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo.
