President Muhammadu Buhari, has on Thursday, during his nationwide broadcast on the security situation in the country, ignored the ordered shooting of peaceful EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos, on Tuesday night,
He condemned the nationwide outrage around the country, and listed all his government has done to better the lives of Nigerian youths (Trader-Moni, Market-Moni, N-Power Programme), claiming that no other government has reduced poverty like his government has done.
He reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to sustain the unity of Nigeria, and ensure security.
He called on the youths to stop the street protests, saying that, their voice has been heard loud and clear, urging everyone to go about their normal businesses.
