The suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has been released on bail, a few hours after his Lawyer threatened to go to court to challenge his continued illegal detention by the Presidential Panel investigating him for corruption allegations, .
He was arrested and detained on Monday, July 6, 2020, following a summons by the Presidential Panel probing his activities in Office.
The specific details of his bail were however, still sketchy as at Press time.
