CNN has released another report on the ordered shooting of peaceful EndSARS protesters on Tuesday night, October 20, at Lekki toll gate, in Lagos, by suspected Law Enforcement Agents, on Tuesday.
Recall, that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had called out CNN, and condemned its earlier report on the tragic incident.
He stated that CNN was biased in the report, and needed to be sanctioned.
The Minister also addressed a letter to the Management of CNN, in Atlanta, the United States of America, USA.
The International Media Organisation, however, today, released its second report, with more damning footage showing men of the Nigerian Army shooting directly at the peaceful EndSARS protesters, on October 20, 2020.
The second report also shows the Commander, 81 Division, Brig.-Gen, Ahmed Taiwo, admitting before the Judicial Panel of Inquiry, in Lagos, that the Soldiers had live ammunition in their weapons while at the toll gate, on the tragic night.
CNN also noted that the statement of Brig.-Gen Taiwo contradicts that of the Minister of Information, who had claimed last week, that the Army fired blank bullets.
It was also revealed in the new report, the moment when protesters were running as Soldiers opened fire at the toll gate.
