The Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari against increasing the price of petrol, amid the already difficult economic situation in the country, .
Recall, that the Federal Government had announced that the price of petrol will rise to N340 per litre at the pump station, in 2022, after subsidy is removed.
The Group Managing Director, GMD, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Mele Kyari, announced this in a recent statement.
Reacting however, Deji stated that the Leaders in the country should remember that they will be judged by God for their actions in Office after they leave the earth.
His exact words on his verified Facebook page: “Buhari may not make heaven, if fuel price is increased in the midst of all the suffering in the country. Leaders, especially those that like calling God’s name always, should remember they will be judged in the hereafter.”
