The Minister of Labour and Employment and 2023 Presidential Aspirant under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Chris Ngige, has stated that he will have to personally consult with President Muhammadu Buhari and his Constituents, before deciding on whether or not to tender his resignation,
Recall, that President Buhari, at the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting, today, Wednesday, ordered his cabinet members who have declared their Presidential and other political ambitions for 2023, to resign before Monday, 16th May.
Reacting however, Ngige said that he is not in a hurry to resign from his appointment as Minister, despite the order.
His exact words: “I have no reaction for now, because the President said if anyone wants clarifications, the person should meet him.
“So I have to consult him and consult my Constituents, Anambra State, because I am holding the Office for the government and my Constituents.”
