A former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to review the ban of Twitter operations in Nigeria by his administration, condemning the move in its entirety, .
Recall, that the Federal Government through the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Friday declared the immediate ban of Twitter in Nigeria.
However, in a swift reaction by the former Senate President, he said: “No sir! This should not be the response from the President of a nation with a vibrant youthful population for whom #Twitter is part of their daily lives, and a source of their income and livelihood. This must be reviewed.”
