Emerging report reaching on Saturday, indicates that there is violence in Osun State, as angry youths have this morning, attacked the Iwo Local Government Area Secretariat.
It was gathered that the youths are currently looting valuables in the office.
Three witnesses who spoke said that parts of the Secretariat building have been set ablaze, while the youths are currently moving to Iwo East LCDA.
Also, some oppressed youths were said to be moving towards the house of Adelere Oriolowo, the Senator representing the Osun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
An Associate of the Senator who pleaded anonymity, said that efforts are going on to rescue Mr. Oriolowo’s building from damage.
In the same vein, hundreds of youths have invaded the office of the immediate-past Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuff.
It was gathered that they came on motorcycles, with many of them armed with machetes and axes of different sizes.
This is coming a day after some youths carted away with hidden Covid-19 palliatives in a warehouse in Ilesha, and another in Ede.
