The House of Representatives, has on Tuesday, asked the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu, to forward to it, the list of the slain Police Officers who died during the recent hijacked peaceful EndSARS protests,
The Chairman of the House Committee on Police Affairs, Bello Kumo, told the IGP, who appeared before the Lawmakers in Abuja, to defend the 2021 Budget of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, that budgetary allocation would be made to compensate the slain Policemen, and repair the damaged and burnt Police Stations during the protests.
Kumo told the IGP that the Speaker of the House of Reps., Femi Gbajabiamila; Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Wase; and Leadership of the House, mandated him to convey the instruction to him.
