The ninth Ohaneze Ndigbo President, Chief John Nnia Nwodo has denied in supporting the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) agitation, calling it a baseless ideology as the leader of the group is acting on social media.
In a statement during the Ohaneze Ndigbo meeting conference with top high chiefs the Ohaneze Ndigbo council in Abuja. , Nwodo made it clear that “I rather die than supporting a group without a bearing and lack of ideology.”
He states that Nigerians should supply more effort in supporting the present administration for a better Nigerian for all of us.
He went further to ensure the Igbo’s all over Nigeria that he has a meeting discussion with the Nigerian chief security forces to ensure the safety of the people.
While speaking further Ohaneze President, Chief John Nnia Nwodo blast the IPOB group for fighting the Buhari government over Biafra freedom restoration.
He laments that “he would rather die other than to support IPOB in the journey for the Biafra restoration”
Chief Nnia Nwodo who also sided with the Fulani herdsmen who allegedly attack the village community in Ebonyi, Enugu, and Anambra state killing many, said that“before any Igbo man will kill Fulani herdsmen they should be prepared to kill him first”.
