The Delta state police Command on Sunday arrested three clergymen for flouting the stay at home order by the Delta state government.
The trio were arrested in Warri, Delta State for holding Easter services despite the Stern warning by Governor Okowa for all Christians to celebrate Easter from their homes.
The Nation reports that one of the pastors allegedly had over 100 members in attendance before he was picked up.
The were the clergymen were arrested are; St James Anglican Church, Ojabugbe, All Saints Anglican Church, Airport Road and Christ For the World Mission, Daudu Street,Warri.
Two of the defaulting pastors claimed not to have had a full attendance of members.
20 persons were arrested alongside the clergymen according to The Nation.
Delta state has been under a two-week lockdown since April 1st as the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led administration tried to prevent a coronavirus case in the state.
The state has since recorded three cases of the virus with one dead and two responding to treatments.
