Late Kyari was regarded as the most powerful individual in the Buhari administration.
Elder statesman and second republic Governor of old Anambra State Jim Nwobodo said on Monday that President Muhammadu Buhari will be left struggling to find someone capable of filling the void left by the death of his most trusted comrade, Mallam Abba Kyari, who passed away last Friday after weeks of unsuccessfully battling with covid-19.
Kyari was popularity regarded as the most powerful individual in the Buhari administration who appears to act like the de factor president of the country. The great influence the late CoS has on the president has seen him clashed with other cabinet members.
Nwobodo in his condolence message in Enugu, described Kyari’s death as a huge loss to the country and one that has created a vacuum.
“It has truncated continuity in government and we send condolences to the president, the presidency and the federal government because it’s not a loss to one person.
“I think that the president will be so much affected because he will now be forced to retool the cabinet and the workforce to the presidency. So, I send my condolences to the Abba Kyari family, [and] the President, for the loss of this high profile person,” Nwobodo said.

Reports of secret burials of over 150 bodies in Kano State has left the State’s residents and Nigerians in general, concerned that either the current lockdown in the country is taking its toll on the poor masses, or that unreported covid-19 cases are succumbing to the deadly disease.
The Kano State government although downplayed the situation as not unusual, however, said it would investigate the situation to uncover possible causes of deaths.
