In order to speed up the tracing and tracking of everyone with the coronavirus infection in Kano State, the State Government has provided an exclusive Testing Centre for Resident Christians in Sabon Gari, Kano.
Speaking while hosting the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, to a meeting at the Government House, Kano, on Tuesday, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje said that the essence of providing the Testing Centre exclusively for Christians, is to allow them test freely without any interference.
“The Testing Centre exists in Sabon Gari, such that a Christian can go to the place and test himself, or go to his Church and the NCDC can follow him to test him there.
“And after the testing, if one is positive, he or she can be taken to the Isolation Centre, or he can decide to stay at home on self-isolation”, Governor Ganduje noted.
Speaking, the Chairman of CAN, Reverend Samuel Adeyemi, said that already, 31 Churches have been fumigated against the disease.
