The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, an Agency of the Ministry of Information and Culture, under the leadership of Minister Lai Mohammed, has fined Channels Television, AIT, and Arise TV, N3 million each, for their “unprofessional coverage” of the EndSARS protests, and the crisis that followed after the ordered shooting of the peaceful EndSARS protesters at Lekki toll gate, on Tuesday night, in Lagos,

The NBC Acting Director-General, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba, announced the sanction at a Press conference in Abuja, on Monday.
