President Muhammadu Buhari, has on Friday, met with the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, and Chairman of the Task Force, Boss Mustapha.
President Buhari said in a tweet, on Friday, that the meeting which held at the State House, Abuja, with members of the Task Force, was on the national response to Covid-19.
The SGF had earlier stated that the Task Force would meet with the President, to review the lockdown order in Lagos, Ogun, and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.The President, who had on March 29, ordered the lockdown for an initial period of 14 days, did not however, provide any indication on whether or not the lockdown would be extended.Others at the meeting included the Minister of Health,
Dr. Osagie Ehanire; the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu; and the National Coordinator in the fight against Covid-19, Dr. Sani Aliyu.Buhari said:
