Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of Aviation has slammed Nigerian youths who are more focused on Big Brother Naija reality TV show than on national issues.
According to him, a 25-year-old in Mali led a coup to reclaim his nation while a 30-year-old in Nigeria is all about Big Brother and the housemates.
Describing the situation as ”Truly Pitiful”, FFK wrote:”25 year old man in Mali led the coup to reclaim their nation. 30 years old in Nigeria watching BBNaija shouting ”Leycon my man!”
With the #revolution now led by Omoyele Swore Nigerian youths are now awake to their rights and civic responsibility. At least the Nigerian youths have stated from somewhere which I believed very strongly that their freedom is near. The slogan that the Youths are leaders of tomorrow is no longer feasible, youths must be leaders of today.Recycling old politicians in Nigeria must stop now, tomorrow may be too late.
