President Muhammadu Buhari, has on Thursday, received an appeal from the Ohanaeze Youths, to handover to an Igbo Presidential Candidate from the South-East, in 2023, .
The youths insisted that it is the turn of the South-East to produce the next President of the country.
According to him, for equity, peace, and justice to reign, Nigerians, especially the North, should support the South-East in their bid.
“Buhari should handover to an Igbo Candidate in 2023. It is a glaring fact that it is the turn of the South-East in 2023”, Dozie said.
To him, anything short of a President from the South-East will not be fair to the region.
Also, President of Ohaneze in Anambra State, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, restated the organisation’s position that is the South-East’s turn to produce President Buhari’s successor.
Dozie and Okeke-Ogene were reacting to a statement by a past Secretary-General of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, Chief Anthony Sani, who said that President Buhari is not a product of rotation.
Dozie stated that the former ACF scribe was expressing his personal opinion.
