A former Minister of Information and National Orientation, Professor Jerry Gana, has on Saturday, stated that Nigeria is in dire need of Leadership with “legitimate” authority, .
He lamented that there is too much of unfairness and injustice in the country, adding that, Nigeria is “degenerating” on a daily basis.
Prof. Gana said these at the just concluded youth Arise Conference 2021, which held at the PTI Conference Centre, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State.
He stated: “There are injustices at the community level. Where there are injustices, there is a lot of violence. What we need is a sense of justice and fairness. There is too much of unfairness and injustice in the land.”
He said that one of the greatest challenges the country is faced with is “bad leadership”.
Prof. Tola Badejo, Pastor Korede Komaiya, Deacon Chris Iyovwaye, and Toyosi Akerele-Ogunaiji, who were also Speakers at the event, identified bad Leadership as the bane of Nigeria as a country, as well.
