Pastor Myles Munroe found of the Bahamas Faith Ministries International in the 1980s; who quickly becoming an influential religious leader among evangelical Christians, giving sermons around the world urged the People to stop praying for their Government because You cannot expect Righteousness from unrighteous person.
Munroe was a pastor, best-selling author and motivational speaker who wielded a huge influence on millions of evangelical Christians round the world.
In one of his video teaching captured online, Pastor Munroe asked the People to stop asking God to heal their country.
He said: “The world cannot heal itself whatever you avoid, you can never change. so you must become the answer to your own prayer.”
“Stop asking God to send Someone to heal your Country, Do you know how Long people have been praying for their Governments? and their countries are still collapsing? ”
“You cannot expect Righteousness from unrighteous person. How can you pray for Demon to be Good? and the Bible said ‘when the Righteous are in Power, the People Rejoice not the Demon who you are praying to be Righteous.”
“When the wicked rule, the wicked Rule the people groan, i wonder how many countries are groaning; The poor, the oppressed, the widows, the children, the young people, people losing their houses, their sanity, losing their jobs, can’t even get a medical attention, because the wicked are in power.”
