The Democratic Party Presidential Candidate in the November 3, 2020, United States, US, election, Joe Biden, has expressed confidence that he would defeat the Republican Candidate, President Donald Trump, as the world awaits the announcement of the final results,
He explained that though votes counting have dragged on from Tuesday’s election, he is leading in key battleground States.
He said this in a latest nationwide address on Friday night, American time, from Wilmington, Delaware.
His words: “We do not have a final declaration of victory yet, but the numbers tell us it is clear.
“We are going to win this race. Just look at what has happened since yesterday. 24-hours we were behind in Georgia, now we are ahead, and we are going to win that State.
“24-hours ago, we were behind in Pennsylvania, and we are going to win Pennsylvania. And now we are ahead, but we are winning in Arizona, we are winning in Nevada, and in fact, our lead just doubled in Nevada.
“We are on track for over 300 electoral votes, electoral college votes. And look at the national numbers. We are going to win this race with a clear majority, with the nation behind us.
“I want everyone, everyone to know on day one, we are going to put our plan to control this virus into action.”
