Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday, announced plans to remain very active in Nigerian politics after leaving Office on May 29, 2023, .
The Vice President made this known amid uncertainty on what would be his next line of action after surprisingly losing out on securing his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, 2023 Presidential ticket at the primary election.
Speaking with “Representatives of the Diaspora Professionals for PYO”, during a virtual meeting, Vice President Osinbajo said that he would continue to push for a better Nigeria.
A statement by his Media Aide, Laolu Akande, quoted the Vice President as saying: “I intend to stay very actively engaged in the politics of our country, because I believe strongly that, if God gives us that opportunity, the change will be swift and we will make a real difference.
“We must continue to push. If we give up and say let us see how it goes, we will be much further back than where we started from.”
