“Some persons thinks we are doing this only because of the natural resources in our land, but they misunderstood it. We are not agitating for Biafra because of oil,” said Ifeanyi Okoro Nna from Abia state in an interview with DAILY TIME TV.
IF YOU SAY THE STRUGGLE IS NOT ALLABOUT OIL, WHAT THEN IS THEREASON FOR IT?
“The struggle for Biafra is all about justice, justice for everyone. We in the old eastern region have so much been treated unfairly. Our people are maimed and killed by the military, Nigerian government treats us just like slaves, do you expect us to sit calm and watch? That’s not possible. We are struggling for Justice, and that justice is a sovereign state of Biafra”.
DO YOU THINK NNAMDI KANU, THE LEADER OF IPOB IS GETTING IT RIGHT TOWARDS THE RESTORATION OF BIAFRA?
“Of course, he’s getting it right. The record so far proves he’s getting it right. Many persons came out but failed because they are self-centered. Typical example of self-centered persons is Ralph Uwazuruike. Today Uwazuruike have failed and is drowning because he is not focused, he is after his own personal interests. Nnamdi Kanu have been following it diplomatically, many bilateral agreements and meeting. There are many there that are indicating that he is getting it right.”
DO YOU THINK BIAFRA WILL BEACHIEVED WITH ANOTHER CIVILWAR?
“It all depends on how the Nigerian government want it. IPOB want it done peacefully that’s why we are demanding for a referendum which the federal government of Nigeria have refused to conduct.
There is every indication that the government do not want it peaceful. But what ever be the case, we will embrace it because we must restore Biafra no matter the cost. War or no war, something must kill a man”.
ENLIGHTEN US ON THIS — “WITHOUTOIL, WE WILL TAKE CARE OFOURSELVES”
“Are we surviving today with oil? The answer is no. Many of us are surviving and living large without oil. Here in BiafraLand, we have many industrious talents wasting because the government refuses to promote those talents.
China is doing great today because the government over there promotes and utilize the talents. We will survive without oil because we aren’t lazy and the environment under the government of Biafra will be fair for our business and talents.”
