I listened to Lai Mohammed’s threat that General @MBuhari ’s government wont tolerate anarchy of #EndSARS and may unleash military. It sounded like Botha’s threat to anti Apartheid campaigners. I urge Lai to find out what happened to Botha. It will happen to them if they try it!
I can’t believe that General @MBuhari ’s Defence Minister accused #EndSARS protesters of undermining National Security. This is a government that releases or rehabilitates Boko Haram members, some of whom have been known to return to the group? Pot calling plate black. Hypocrites!
#EndSARS protesters did not pull of the jail break in Benin, or burn the police stations. Those were thugs. For all we know, they could have been agent provocateurs. The government has used provocateurs in Lagos and Abuja. It may not be the last time. This is a peaceful movement!
Let me let Nigerians in on a secret. When General @MBuhari joined protesters in Abuja, on November 20, 2014, @GEJonathan provided security for him, in case the protest was hijacked by thugs. I challenge Buhari to deny. So, why is he using soldiers on peaceful #EndSARS protesters?
General @MBuhari cheered #OccupyNigeria protesters in 2012. So, how come he jeered #EndSARS protesters? I don’t get it. What is the difference? Is this not hypocrisy? Double standards? You encourage protesters when Jonathan was in office, you threaten them when you are in power.
