The Attorney General of Federation Mr. Abubakar Malami is in the news again. This time not because of the investigation of former EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu but for his son whose five day wedding ceremony has caught the attention of some Nigerians. Mr. Malami before now have officially written to the Federal Government about the wedding of his son Abdulaziz Abubakar Malami with Khadija which is scheduled to take place in Kano. But Sahara Reporters have followed up the society wedding of the son of the Minister of Justice in Nigeria.
According to reports from Sahara Reporters, 6 private jets landed in Brini Kebbi as Malami’s wife, son-in-law and siblings of the groom arrived in a chattered jet. It doesn’t end there, Sahara Reporters also stated that Malami’s son bought $200,000 worth of Mercedes Benz with vanity plate “AZBIR”.He also built a multi million dollar arena which Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu and other top politicians were seen performing the opening ceremony. My question is where did Malami’s son got the money to buy Mercedes Benz of $200,000 and build a luxury Arena? Could it be that he is a business man who made money at a young age?

Some are wondering how Malami’s son got the money to buy this kind of expensive car and an Arena.Abubakar Malami who is the Attorney General of the Federation recently suggested to President Muhammadu Buhari to remove Ibrahim Magu as the EFCC Chairman due to some corruption allegations against him.
The President has since suspended Magu from office and appointed Umar Mohammed as the new EFCC Chairman. Magu since Monday last week has been facing the Presidential Probe Panel headed by Retired Justice Ayo Isa Salami. He has also asked the Inspector General of Police to grant him bail. It could be recalled that the Department of State Services had arrested Magu on Monday last week at the Wuse II Abuja office of the EFCC.
