“Just in: The Sultan of Sokoto has issued a stern warning, claiming that Atiku is allegedly sponsoring herdsmen attacks in Plateau and Edo States as a strategy to destabilize Tinubuโ€™s government.

He further stated that Tinubu set the precedent by allegedly using Bko Hram to undermine Goodluck Jonathanโ€™s administration. ‘He who started the fire shouldnโ€™t be surprised when it spreads,’ the Sultan warned.”

Abuja on Lockdown, armed military units have barricaded the entrance to Aso Rock, Nigeriaโ€™s seat of power, refusing Vice President Kashim Shettima access to the presidential villa.

Sources on the ground report that the Vice President was instructed to “work from home” until President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns from France. The military personnel at the gates claim they are acting under direct orders, though it remains unclear from whom those orders originated.

Tensions are high, as reports suggest that President Tinubu has increasingly sidelined the Vice President in recent weeks, allegedly entrusting key decisions and confidential meetings to his son, Seyi Tinubu, sparking outrage among political observers.

With the nation’s leadership visibly fractured and military presence tightening around power centers, Nigeria stands at the edge of an unprecedented political crisis.
