The Labour Party, LP, 2023 Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, has on Tuesday, officially filed his petitions at the 2023 Presidential Election Tribunal, challenging the entire 2023 Presidential election and the official results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, under the leadership of Professor Mahmood Yakubu, .
Recall, that Obi was declared third position in the election by INEC, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, came second, and the winner according to INEC, was Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Recall also, that Obi and his LP rejected the results, asserting that they won the election by a clear majority of the authentic votes cast.
Speaking, the Spokesman of the Obi-Datti 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, disclosed the submission of the petition.
He said exactly: “It is official, the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, has filed his petition to the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. The process of reclaiming the people’s mandate has started.”
