Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’, in a One on One interview monitored by Page 36’s Correspondent, the Minister of Justice when asked to react to the move by the Southern States Governors, last week, banning open grazing in the region, in a bid to reduce the insecurity in the region, totally condemned the move.
He argued that the Governors will have to go through the National Assembly to amend the part of the Constitution that provides for freedom of movement for the citizens, before such orders can be passed by the Governors.
The AGF went further to liken the move to the Northern Governors banning Igbo Spare Parts Traders in the Northern region, which he said will not be constitutional as well.
