Emerging report indicates that some of the 2023 Presidential Aspirants were absent at the Old Banquet Hall of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja, for the Ramadan Iftar Dinner organised by the First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
The event which was scheduled to kick off by 6:30pm, today, reportedly had some of the Guests arriving by 6:20pm.
Some of the Presidential Aspirants who arrived early and were on seat when the event started included: the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi; and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.
Other Officials from across political parties in the country, who attended the dinner included: the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio; one-time National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Barnabas Gemade; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara; and Businessman, Tein Jack-Rich.
Recall, that the First Lady had invited the 2023 Presidential Aspirants to a Ramadan Iftar Dinner, today, at the State House Conference Centre.
However, some PDP 2023 Presidential Aspirants, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Bukola Saraki, were conspicuously missing at the Dinner.
