Deji sends major warning to Bola Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 Presidency.
One of the biggest Activist and Constructive Critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration, Deji Adeyanju, on Monday, warned Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, against contesting for the Presidency in 2023, Page 36 learnt.
Adeyanju warned that Tinubu’s political career would be over, if he contests for the 2023 Presidency.
Mocking the former Lagos State Governor, the Convener of Concerned Nigerian group, however, stated that Tinubu should run for the Presidency.
In a tweet, the Activist wrote: “I want Tinubu to contest the 2023 Presidential election under APC. That will be the end of his political career.”
This is coming at a time when Nigerians are saying that the defeat APC suffered in the just concluded Governorship election in Edo State, is the beginning of the end to godfatherism in the country.
The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, defeated Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC, after polling the highest votes in the September 19, election, despite the APC Governorship Candidate having the support of Bola Tinubu, and that of the self-acclaimed, but now defeated political godfather in the State, Adams Oshiomhole, the sacked National Chairman of the APC, and a former Governor of the State.
