Federal Government, United States of America Representatives, meet to address visa restrictions.
As a first step to address the recently announced visa restrictions on some Nigerian Politicians involved in rigging the 2019 general elections, Representatives of the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United States of America, USA, are said to be in a closed-door meeting in Abuja, Page 36 learnt.
The meeting is attended by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, and the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard.
Nothing official was out yet, as to the resolution made at the meeting, as it was still ongoing at Press time.
The gathering is however, expected to afford the Federal Government the opportunity to brief the US on steps it has taken after the ban.
Onyeama is expected to brief Journalists on his discussion with Leonard, after the meeting.
