President Muhammadu Buhari, has on Thursday, landed in Imo State, for a one-day official visit, where he will inaugurate several developmental projects executed by the Governor Hope Uzodinma State Government, .
The President was received at the Sam Mbakwe International Airport, in Owerri, the State capital, by the Governor of the State, as well as the Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, who is the Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, Candidate in the November 2021, Anambra State Governorship election, Senator Andy Uba.
Others at the Airport to welcome President Buhari included some Ministers and Presidential Aides from the South-East, the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority, NALDA, Paul Ikonne, and other Federal and State Government Officials.
Senator Rochas Okorocha, despite being an APC Chieftain, as well as a former Governor of the State, was however, missing at the welcome ceremony.
