As the buildup to the campaigns for the 2023 general elections, especially the Presidential election continues, a former Governor of Gombe State under the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hassan Ibrahim Dankwambo, has called on Nigerians not to sell their votes to Politicians running for various Offices,
The former Governor spoke in a series of tweets.
He also called on the electorate to vote for Candidates that will protect them, build a strong economy and unite the country.
Speaking further, he stressed that the worth of the vote of each Nigerian should be tagged at not less than $50,000, should they ever want to sell their votes to the Politicians, come 2023 elections.
His exact words: “Do not sell your vote.
“Do all you can to vote for Candidate that will protect you, build a strong economy and unite the country.
“The worth of your vote should be around FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. If you will ever sell your vote, that should be your starting price.
“To all the Students who are first-time voters and have stayed home for months due to ASUU strike, it is time to vote right.
“Enough is enough.”
