Former President Goodluck Jonathan, has taken a swipe at the 9th National Assembly, which many Nigerians have tagged a “Rubber Stamp”, saying that the Laws the present Federal Lawmakers make appear to target individuals, rather than work for the good of the country, Page 36 learnt.
The former President said this in Abuja, at the official presentation of a book, titled: ‘Political Party Governance’, written by a former Minister of State for Power, Mohammed Wakili.
Speaking further, he stated that the political parties in the country must be allowed to adopt their own process of selecting and electing their Candidates for elections.
He also berated those calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the amended Electoral Act 2022, stressing that, they are ignorant of the due process in the Office of the President.
