Senior advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome has said that he is not surprise concerning the recent arrest of the former acting Chairman of the Economic and financial Crime commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu over corruption aligations.
Magu was reportedly suspended on Tuesday evening to allow him to face a probe of allegations of misconduct against him.
According to him, he has been telling Magu of his untrue definition of corruption since 2017 and he did not decide to change his ways of fighting corruption.
“I later challenged Magu publicly, face-to-face, on at least three occasions, one of which was at a ceremony at the federal high court in Abuja.” Where I told him about his ill attitude on the way things are done in the EFCC
He said that the fight against corruption under the leadership of Magu was selective that he aired to him on severely occasions that it is more corrupt to fight corruption with corruption.
