The Minority Leader of the 9th Senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, has on Wednesday, refused to make comment on the achievements of the 9th Senate, led by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, in the last two years, .
The Upper Chamber of the National Assembly had fixed today, to celebrate the achievements of the 9th Senate, since it was inaugurated on June 11, 2019.
There was however, drama after the Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi, delivered his speech, and Senate President Lawan invited Senator Abaribe to give his own speech.
The Minority Leader merely stood up and said: “Thank you Mr. President, but the Minority Leader will like to decline to make comments.”
The Senate President thanked Senator Abaribe for his comments, and called other Senators to make their comments.
Senator Abaribe then proceeded to walked out of the Red Chamber.
